I am in over my head and I am hoping that someone here will graciously take some time out of their day to fully and patiently explain these things to me.
I have heard that making any INI tweaks is a bad idea. I wanted to change the value of ugridstoload but I'm afraid to. I was going to try this http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1340369-skyrim-memory-patch-fixing-ils-ugrids-ctd-freezes-for-real/page-1 in order to try to change the ugridstoload value but I'm not exactly sure how to do it or if I will only end up destroying my game. There's a lot of information to sift through and I'm confused. From what I understand, Sheson's fix is included in SKSE 1.7 so one doesn't have to download any other patch or add any lines to the INI file, except to change the ugridstoload value... Is that correct?
If you want to know more about what was found and how this is corrected, Google Sheson's memory patch. Sheson's the person who figured this out. OR look at these links. Los problemas de rendimiento son mucho mas faciles de solucionar que los problemas de cuelgue y slidas al escritorio que pueden ser debidos a diferentes factores, este tema trata mas eso que el. Page 2 of 2 - Tried everything! Sheson's memory patch not working! - posted in Skyrim Technical Support: Well, good to see that you got shesons patch working. Totally forgot about ssme.
Also, I don't use any ENB but I think I'm supposed to be using ENBoost along with Sheson's patch... Is that right? I tried to use it once.. I successfully installed it, but it caused stuttering and screen tearing that I didn't have without ENBoost. I wasn't sure I knew what I was doing and I didn't want to deal with it, so I gave up and uninstalled ENBoost. Did I miss something? Why did the stuttering and screen tearing happen on an otherwise stable game?
So my questions are:
Sheson's Memory Patch Download Free
1. What do I need to make use of Sheson's patch? SKSE 1.7 or something more?
2. Do I need to use ENBoost along with the patch?
Sheson's Memory Patch Skyrim
3. Is it safe to change the ugridstoload value along with Sheson's patch and/or ENBoost? Or ever?
4. Why the heck is ENBoost messing up my game when it's supposed to help?
5. What do I need to do for everything to work?
Sheson Memory Patch New Vegas
6. Should I just quit now while I'm ahead and stop creating new topics on the message board?
Skyrim Sheson's Memory Patch
Thanks in advance
First things 1st. I got a pirated retail copy of skyrim and the DLCs and got the latest patch via piratebay meaning i'm not a steam user. 3 Days ago patch the 1.9.32 together with latest version of SKSE and the SKYUI mod. some bugs started appearing like the ($) on the start of words in the menu, a space in the journal quest entries that when CLICKED it has a message saying LOOKUP FAILED!. being a non steam user i find it hard to fix the problem since the readme on troubleshooting it is useable by steam users only. can anyone help??
Loading editorI think the only advice your gonna get is to buy a proper copy.
Loading editorand that would be hard on your pockets if your living outside of US or EU like in Asia the original copy can cost more than $100-120 or lower depending on the country you lived. To be honest i also bought a pirated retail copy of the game and the DLCs but so far so good i haven't have any problems with the mods i'm putting other than those that requires SKSE.

holy molly! where in the world can someone sell Skyrim at $120 ?!?lol just kidding :P, though i saw a PC version of it costing up to $70 i guess, not good at converting currency. Also not all people can afford to buy a legit copy of the game. i think he knows that piracy is bad and illegal but who could blame him?? if he can only afford a pirated copy that is 1/4 of the price on the original copy or even lower, there are some gamers out there that can't afford to buy 'Legit' copies of thei favorite games. or he's just being budget wise :/
Loading editor I think it's a glitch of language patch. Sometimes you need to update the language patch when you update the game. Consider to buy a copy of Legendary Edition. It's $60. (about 2500PHP, I assume you're from Philippines by your IP.)
I'm from China. Pirated copies are everywhere, easy to download from the Internet and free of charge. But proper copies are not hard to find. They still could be purchased from the Internet though the price might be a little bit higher than the official retail price.
Loading editordamn straight. found a Dragonborn copy for almost $50 or higher on the internet :D. i think he should buy a legit copy of 1 DLC.

poor indeed (evil laugh...) it's because everyone here has the original game...Loading editor Hey! i have a good idea, lets illegaly get a game and expect it to be safe and not glitched!
Loading editorOh c'mon. I bet some of you pirated something out of the internet. xD
Loading editoractually... yes, some years ago i couldn't find Age of Empires II in stores so I downloaded illegally... besides that, my file is %101 clean
Loading editorOk, I realize this is a year too late, but I bought the original game and then found out about that *%^£$%ing stupid Steam requirement. Like I really *want* to share my private gaming habits with the whole internet? What the * were they thinking?
Anyway: I downloaded the 'no steam' crack for it, because I wanted to play a game that I payed for, and I didn't want to have Big Brother Steam watch me do it. Honestly, I then downloaded pirated DLCs and updates just because the only way to buy them legitimately was to go through the Steam nonsense again.
So:
Gamers: piracy is bad, support the developers by buying the game. Developers: Steam (and Windows LIVE) requirements are BAD. Include them as options; some gamers like them. However, if you include them as DRM, gamers are going to pirate. Piracy is bad, but screwing over your customers is worse. ('Perhaps on the rare occasion pursuing the right course demands an act of piracy, piracy itself can be the right course?')

I have since found that SKSE (1.07...) works just fine with the non-steam Skyrim, as long as you have the most recent (non-steam version of) the official update (1.9....). (The 'reloaded' update works beautifully for me, and no, I don't feel at all guilty about using a cracked update: as stated, I *bought* the game, but if Bethesda says piracy is necessary in order to play the game without steam, then who am I to argue?)
So, for anybody still searching: non-steam Skryim + reloaded updates + SKSE = happy, functional game experience. ;p (Add cracked DLCs for flavour, if you like. Maybe Bethesda will learn, but if they don't, I'll still buy their games--and then download cracked versions that actually work without third-party big brother malware like steam.)
Loading editorJust to spite all the high horse f****** that somehow feel it necessary to shame pirates on the behalf of a game company that doesn't pay them a salary even though it doesn't make a lick of difference (you aren't stopping anyone) xD if you want the memory patch integrated into SKSE (shesons memory patch) to work make sure you run SKSE with the argument '-forcesteamloader' without quotes ofc. You can either add this to the end of the 'target' inside of your SKSE_loader.exe shortcut or create a custom launch inside of your preferred mod manager, heres an example of what it might look like in the shortcut --> 'C:GamesSkyrim - Legendary Editionskse_loader.exe' -forcesteamloader

I'm with you bro :/
Stupid SKSE64 just shows me everytime the Store site of Skyrim -.-
I dont want to buy Skyrim again... happened too much on xbox...
Loading editor I could solve it with the Codex Crack from SkidRow Skyrim SE V1.5.53.
Just Copie all files to your TESS folder and make sure that the skyrimse.exe and skse64.exe
will be run as Admin. (Maybe also the Launcher, not sure about this).
Then you can start it easily from MO.
