1 is there any way to just download the 20gb patch instead of the whole 50gb game? Plz link, if not then,
2 since they don't have wow how can they download it with minimal trouble for them? if they sign up for a week free trial? will that be the full game? & will those game files work for me to copy?
Jesus, how do you even play anything with only 3GB a month? Like, is that even enough to watch Youtube?
Gaming burns considerably less data than streaming video. For that matter, it burns less data than hitting forums and looking at images.

I get by on about 5 gigs a month or so, if I'm doing a lot of foruming in addition to my gaming. Cut it back to JUST gaming, and I can get by on about 2 gigs.EDIT:

Honestly, while it might be a mild inconvenience, it would probably be best to pack up your tower and carry it over, then hardwire it into your friend's home network. Otherwise, you're going to have to download the client to your friend's computer, THEN download the patch, THEN transfer it to a thumb drive after you dig it out of the WoW installation folder, THEN get it onto yours.
Yeah I would look into upgrading your internet if you can afford it, other than that you should try going to multiple places with free wifi and mooch off of them. Over time you should get the full download.
Hard to carry a tower to a free wifi location, and I assume he's got a tower. Else, you know, he wouldn't have to worry about how to get the patch off his friend's network. It'd be easy-peasy to just carry a laptop.
And if he's on internet with a 3 gig cap, that means he's probably running mobile internet which, in turn, proooooobably means there's no land-based internet available where he lives.
You may need to run a repair so the game will find itself properly.

Looking toward the legion prepatch, does anyone have any data on what classes/specs are looking like they'll be ahead DPS wise. I haven't seen any numbers yet (may be too early) but if anyone has info to share it'd be appreciated.
Aiming toward 2+ mythic archi kills per week so keen to stack whatever class/specs are looking most op come prepatch to make it as smooth as possible.
Edit: My original post was poorly worded but this was actually what I was trying to get to. Knowing that things are more than likely balanced around 110 and not 100, it's likely that there will be some short term winners and losers (in the 4-6 weeks period between the prepatch and Legion). As an example Class X may do insane damage in that 4 week period because it's tuned around the class being level 110 and not 100. In this case stacking class X may make multiple mythic archi runs a lot quicker and easier.
So yes, well aware that there's a difference between balance at 100 and 110, and that's what I'm looking to abuse for a brief 4-6 week period.
