0.6.3.0.1 Touhou Commander Portrait Mod WOWS

So for a little while now I had reawakened an old version of this mod that had never been updated in Hakabase’s mod pack. I eventually replaced the vast majority of images so as to not contain repeats (besides the smaller nations with few commanders) as well as to keep the art style relatively consistent. I provide Hakabase with the updated versions, but if anyone wants to implement mods the old fashioned way I’ll provide it here as well.

Now as an aside, commander mods generally don’t need to be updated for every single patch as long as the file structure stays the same. The only real reason I’ll need to update is when Wargaming adds new commander portraits.

Further, you can customize these mods if you don’t mind renaming files. Want a particular portrait for a particular commander? Just go and swap the file names between the old portrait and the one you want. Do note that it will change that portrait for all commanders that use it, so you’ll still have clones. You can find the portraits on this file path: World of Warships/res_mods/*game version*/gui/crew_commander/base/*country*

Anyways, here’s the mod. Just extract the .zip file to your World of Warships/res_mods/*game version* folder.

The game features aspects similar to World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, having several types of military ships fulfilling different roles within teamed player versus player battles. The gameplay is team-based. There are four different classes of vessels: destroyers, cruisers, battleships, and aircraft carriers; these vessels span across ten tiers within the technology trees of several nations. Development

On August 16, 2011, the company website of Wargaming.net, developer and publisher of World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, announced World of Battleships, a free-to-play naval action MMO, intended to complete the World of war trilogy developed by the company. Closed beta testing for World of Warships started on March 12, 2015, shortly after closed alpha ended, with the non-disclosure agreement covering the alpha being lifted at the same time. Open beta testing for World of Warships started on July 2, 2015, as the final step prior to the game's formal launch. During a Famitsu interview with global director Ivan Moroz, it was revealed that as of the open beta test, approximately 85% of the core game development was complete, and that there were future plans to introduce weather effects and night battle after the game's official release.
